This section will be added soon. So what happened to the Naval Training School after World War II? This section will examine the years since World War II, from the Navy loaning the facilities to the University of Oklahoma, reactivating the base in the 1950s and subsequent final closure in 1959 to the subdivision of the property between the City of Norman, the University of Oklahoma and private enterprise. A rough timeline of the buildings demise will be added as well. Nothing last forever this side of eternity as the old saying goes.
